The Maze Runner: The Death Cure (Review)

Image
The final instalment of The Maze Runner trilogy has finally been released at a somewhat delayed schedule, thanks to injuries during filming. The first film was absolutely amazing! I was obsessed and watched it every day for a week. The Scorch Trials  was a disappointing sequel in comparison but nevertheless  I was so excited to see the third! Click here to watch the trailer or see below. I think the film begins perfectly and picks up right where The Scorch Trials finishes. I love when films do that because I think it really is such a good beginning. I always tend to re-watch the movies that have been released in the series prior to watching the new films so I personally love it when you don't have to go through a torturous recap in order to understand them. Having said that, it does mean you can't jump into the franchise for the third film alone. It would make NO sense! Despite that, one of the things I love about The Maze Runner is that they always start the films...

Marc Jacobs Gel Highliners (Review) - Influenster VoxBox

Image
At the end of last year I shared all about  Influenster . I absolutely love the company and they basically provide you with complimentary products in exchange for social media promotion and reviews. My last VoxBox was a  Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara  which I loved but this month I received a couple of  Marc Jacobs Matte Highliner Gel Eye Crayon . I received these in 2 colours: Deja Blue and Pink of Me. Colour life with all the crayons in the box. Inspired by Marc's boldly bright resort 2017 collection, embracing the freewheeling '80s and MTV kids, this new expression of Highliner delivers high-impact colour for exuberant new eye looks. Now the intense pigment payoff and amazing glide of original bestselling Highliner comes in a new matte finish. The formula's pure hues are glitter-free, intensified by super-rich pigment. The malleable formula glides on smoothly for precise application, then sets in place for all-day wear. 6g The colours a...

Trapped in a Lift!

Image
This week's been quiet apart from a night out at Pryzm which was absolutely crazy because most my friends got trapped in a lift...no joke! Click here to watch the vlog or see below. The week started off exciting with an afternoon spent house hunting. I'd arranged a couple of viewings so we headed to see those just after lunch. The first was close to the hospital. We pass it every day on the walk to university so location wise it was perfect. No one liked the inside so it was immediately a no. The second was a surprise. It was advertised as a house and while it was really high quality and super nice inside, it was basically on the same level as student hall accommodation. I received an email late last night from our current accommodation, advertising the houses they offer. Considering returning students get a smaller deposit requirement and the rent is the same as we currently have, it was an easy decision for everyone else. I preferred the second property but could un...

Favourite LipSense Colours! (Valentine's Day Edition)

Image
It is so close to Valentine's Day now and with less than 2 weeks to go, I thought it was about time I shared my top 5 colours for Valentine's. Of course, it's all about the pinks and reds but with so many LipSense options in our 50 colour range, it was defintely hard to narrow down my selection. Fly Girl: I feel like this colour has made an appearance in all of my Favourite LipSense Colour editions ( Summer and Winter ) and even though I don't wear it all that often, if I wanted a true red, this is the one I would always pick. It's the perfect red lip.  Aussie Rose: For an added shimmer to your lip colour, I love this pink in Aussie Rose. It's one of the first colours I've bought so it will forever be a favourite.  Plumeria: Spice up the night with this hot pink colour. I love this one to bring some spark into a look. Roseberry: Torn between red and pink? This is the perfect in between colour. It's not quite red or pink but I love that it can ton...

How to: Download Instagram Stories!

Image
I have a business Instagram account and one day, I really wanted my Instagram LIVE! downloaded but I forgot to save it. Well, I was totally at a loss so I did some research and I found this amazing site! It's so easy to use and so I just had to share a quick guide! On Google Chrome, you can download an app that acts as an internet browser extension called Chrome IG Story. Click here to download it. Once downloaded, click on the symbol located next to your search bar. Chrome IG Story and it will open a new tab. Type in the username of the story you want to download. It's that simple! The best thing is that you don't even have to be logged into the correct account because you can download anybody's story.  I hope that helps. Have fun!

Car Shopping and a Crazy Day!

Image
Spending a few days at home called for car shopping and meeting up with a friend. It all got a little crazy so STORYTIME!  Click here for the vlog or watch below! We had a long weekend break with 3 days of Self Directed Learning (SDL) so I went home for just under a week. It was defintely nice to go back. It's odd, I've never felt homesick before. If you've been following me for a while you may know that I studied for three years in London. Back in my very first term of first year, I didn't go back once. I feel like Nottingham is so different compared to the capital. Let's face it, the public transport is defintely more temperamental. We went to Costco with grandma and she made me laugh so much. I got lots of free snacks while walking around and the sunset was absolutely stunning. We ended up having a Chinese takeaway and finished it with some melt in the middle chocolate pudding. Seriously...heaven! I ended up stealing another for the day after too....
