Oceania Travel Plans

Image
Last week I shared the news that I’m currently in Australia so I wanted to shared my route and the main plans I have when I am there.  I’m doing things a little differently this time, compared to America, and instead of staying in single occupancy hotel rooms, I’m in shared hostel accommodation. Also, I’m backpacking and travelling around on buses. It’s all a little outside of my comfort zone and to be honest I’m not sure how I’m going to enjoy it, but it’s the Australian experience and the most affordable option, so that’s what I’m doing. I’ll be sharing reviews of everything as I go so if you’re interested in a similar trip, there’ll be lots of advice and tips coming.  I’m starting in Melbourne, with a free city day, following by a trip to Philip Island and a trip to Great Ocean Road. Then, I fly to Cairns and start my East Coast trip south to Sydney. In Cairns, I again have a free city day, alongside a boat day trip to the Great Barrier Reef and a day trip to the Daintree R...

Another Big Travel Adventure!

Image
I feel like this is going to sound like it’s come out of the blue for those who have not followed me recently, but I’m so excited to say that as this post goes live, I’m actually going to be enjoying my second big adventure.  In 2024, I headed to the USA and Canada on an epic “roadtrip” round New York, Washington DC, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Vancouver, San Francisco, Hawaii, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. I vlogged and posted posts on the whole experience on here, so if you’re interested in something similar, they are good posts to read. I always said I wanted to do 2 big trips before I turned 30 and had kids. One being the USA and Canada, and the other being Australia and New Zealand.  Well, it’s a year later than planned as I needed a little more time to save up some money, but it’s finally time to go to Australia. A year and a half in the making and I cannot believe I’m finally going to my third bucket list destination…Australia. I’m tagging on New Zealand and Singapore whilst I...

A 2026 Introduction of Me

Image
As you may have seen, I have taken over a year off of writing and posting on here, but I’m back. I want to start by sharing a little life update, an explanation of sorts of what I’ve been doing and where I’ve been, but mainly an introduction, back to basics of who I am. So, without further ado… Hello!  My name is Hannah. I’m an almost 30 year old woman, female home owner, have a car...haha. I love sharing my life and have been vlogging and blogging for over a decade. I fell in love with a man who I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with. Sadly, it didn’t work how I had imagined, and for a number of years I struggled with my mental health and grieving the life I had planned. I’m now very pleased to say I am in a much better place and genuinely happy.  My “day” job as a midwife quite literally saved me, and I’ve relatively recently been promoted to Labour Suite Coordinator. It’s currently a 12 month secondment covering maternity leave, but I am hoping to make it a...

Yikes…It’s Been a While!

Image
Hello all. I can’t quite believe it’s been so long since I last wrote. I don’t think I’ve properly written a blog post since February 2025 so it’s been well over a year. Gosh, how the time has flown.  I’ve shared some vlog posts since, but not in detail as I usually would, instead just the vlog and sometimes some pictures. I’d had some saved in my drafts and I decided to just share them! I have continued posting weekly vlogs on my YouTube channel so if you haven’t been keeping up, there’s plenty of weekly vlogs to watch!  I’m not sure why I stopped blogging and in all honesty, there wasn’t a particular reason for it. It’s just something that happened and there were days that I missed it and wished to pick it back up, but then I also felt I couldn’t commit to the time it takes and I didn’t want to stop and start. I always said I blogged for fun and it if it ever felt like work, I would stop. I feel I reached that stage for no particular reason and so I’ve take some time off…oka...
