Valentine's Day: 5+Bonus DIY Decor!

Image
If you read my first post this week, you will know that this week's theme is Valentine's Day! If not, go take a look at some of my  favourite crafts . Pinnable image :) For today I'm going to be showing some of my favourite Valentine's DIY Decor ideas! Valentine's Day is such a short holiday, I don't really see the point in buying and spending lots of money on decorations that will only be up for a short time. Having said that, any excuse to decorate and make the most of a celebration, is fine with me. So here are some of my favourite cheap and easy decorations for my room. Sneakily, I also threw in a few actual crafts which I didn't put in Monday's post because I thought it may be a little complicated for small children. Disclaimer: I've found all these ideas on Pinterest but I also remember doing them myself when I was younger. I have included links to the original posts but I also found it very annoying when I would go on Pinterest and th...

Valentine's Day: 6 Kids Crafts!

Image
Pin Image :) As it's Valentine's Day this weekend, I thought this week, I would do a week of Valentine's Day posts! Today's is going to be DIY Valentine's Crafts! Now I love to craft, I find it super relaxing but this are also super easy and would be a great activity to do with toddlers and young children; I think I might have to try some of these with my niece, Bop, and I will definitely remember them for when I have children...one day! Disclaimer: I've found all these ideas on Pinterest but I also remember doing them myself when I was younger. I have included links to the original posts but I also found it very annoying when I would go on Pinterest and then that post would take me to another and another and then finally the original with the actual instructions. So while you can have a look at the original posts, you don't need to click on them to be able to do the activity, unless you want more detail. 1. Toilet Roll Stamp - I'm sure mos...

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Review) - Late

Image
Star Wars: The Force Awakens came out ages ago but I only just went to the cinema on this past Saturday with my mum to see it. Honestly, I've never watched any of the other 6 films nor have I read the books or seen the TV show. I had absolutely no interest in Star Wars and I didn't really want to see it...BUT I was incredibly shocked by how much I enjoyed it. I ended up getting so involved in the stories and I can't wait for the next film. Having had this film left on a cliff hanger (literally ;) ) it's just a given that another will be made soon!  I watched a YouTube video which introduced me to the apparently famous introduction the films always seem to do.  "Episode VII THE FORCE AWAKENS Luke Skywalker has vanished. In his absence, the sinister FIRST ORDER has risen from the ashes of the Empire and will not rest until Skywalker, the last Jedi, has been destroyed. With the support of the REPUBLIC, General Leia Organa leads a brave RESIST...

"Birchbox X Pinterest" January Birchbox: Unboxing and Review

Image
I was so pleased with my first Birchbox ( "All That Glitters"post ) that I kept my subscription going and I'm so glad I did! This month's box was a collaboration with Pinterest and so, as such, the box was a complete Pinterest inspired design and I thought it was so cute and pretty. I thought the packaging was seriously adorable. I'm now assuming that they all come like this but as my first box was slightly different I wasn't expecting it to be wrapped, then the box, then inside was this adorable mesh tie bag which is going to be so useful for travelling and even keeping little products within easy reach in my handbag. RITUALS Rice Scrub - £10 I love gentle exfoliating products. I use Clinique's Exfoliating Scrub  on my face about once a week. As my face is very sensitive to getting acne I decided not to try this product on my face and instead used it on the rest of by body. My first impression of the product was that it smelt very soft and fe...

Goosebumps (Review)

Image
Goosebumps and it's somewhat questionable release date has finally come out in the UK. It first premièred at The London Film Festival back in and October but it kept getting pushed further and further back in the UK, for general release. Finally, the time has come and this past week meant that the public could now head to the cinema and see the film for themselves (if they haven't already since it's been out in the US and other countries for months - 4!) The film centres around Zach, a young teenage boy, who is upset about moving from a big city to a small town. No film would be complete without a little romance and so the story begins where he finds a little slither of hope in this new life he is forced to live, when he meets his next door neighbour Hannah. But every silver lining has a cloud, and Zach's comes when he learns that Hannah has a mysterious dad who is incredibly controlling and refuses to let the two speak. After being at school for minutes, he has ...
