Back into Placement!

Image
I've gone back out into placement and I officially started again this past Monday. This year I really want to focus on each placement and getting the most out of them so I'm making a pre-warning. Unfortunately, due to time restrictions, I may not stick to 3 posts a week. I'll aim to do at least one a week to stay connected, but just to let you all know, as much as I love this blog and website, sometimes it can be hard work and a break is much needed...especially after a 12 and a half hour shift! So bare with me while I get used to living in a new city and moving home temporarily. I'll still be back and forth to Nottingham, especially for archery, but it's going to be interesting to see what it's like.

My First Bow, Rhubarb Ball and Farm Life!

Image
I finally got my new bow and I travelled back to the farm for the annual Rhubarb Ball and a farm walk before heading back to Nottingham.  Click here to watch the vlog or see below.  The last few weeks of university have been a bit of a mismatch. It's been busy with the debate, finishing the last few theory bits of the debate module and also filling the days with clinical skills. It's been go, go, go, but also it's strangely been filled with online work which feels somewhat like down time.  The module lead for this first module of the year is amazing and she really tries her hardest to make the lectures fun. We had a game of bingo with advantages and disadvantages of techniques and then used smarties for talking about sampling. My highlight of the last week has got to be getting my new bow. I drove back to the farm on Monday night and then back to Nottingham half an hour later. It was all a bit hectic in the end but I am utterly and completely in love with i

My Random February Favourites!

Image
It's been a while since I've done a favourite's post and I think I say that every time I do one, but it's about time I did one again right?! Let's kick off March with my February favourites. We've had a lot of days off for self-directed learning this month so I've been loving eating a cheese and ham panini for lunch each day. It's been the best. My lips have been so dry so my LipSense Lip Balm has saved my life. I absolutely love curling my hair and with not one, but three different parties to attend, I've been loving my TRESemme Curling Wand . I did a post about curling my hair a while back and I still love it just as much. One of my favourite things is that the curls last days! I can get away with 3 days of no touch ups which I think is amazing. Of course, I have to include my bow. It was ridiculously expensive and something I'd never imagined I'd get but it's the best thing. I love it. Even if it was just for my 3-ten end
