Garden Plans, Masters Submission and Games Night!

After a life focussed on dissertation writing recently, I finally got to spend time in the garden and with friends after submitting my final Master's assessment!  Click here to watch the vlog or see below.  I had a few days of finishing up my Master's dissertation and it's been a little busy, so I defintely needed some downtime. As I was nearing the end, I wanted a little rest and relaxation to reset before doing some final changes and proof reads. I had a busy morning concentrating, before making a lovely Sunday roast, have a Lush bath bomb bath and changing the bed to clean sheets. I felt very lovely afterwards. I later submitted my dissertation 24 hours later and didn't quite get the relief I had expected. I had planned to read it through one more time, but the next day, I had planned everything in advance for a relaxing day. Instead, my cleaners let me down and never arrived. Wedding Season, Baby Playdate and Dissertation Writing!

The first of my 2024 cousin's wedding and one of my childhood best friends got married within a week of each other. I also did lots of dissertation writing and had a playdate.  Click here to watch the vlog or see below. I have 7 weddings this year, and the third wedding of the year was one of my cousins. Technically my 2nd cousin, but we grew up quite close and don't need the extra separation. It was a chilly day but the rain at least stayed away. It was more of a relaxed, boho themed wedding and very retro, with lots of record decorating the venue and linked to the table seating plan, menu and table numbers. It was lovely and there were lots of tears. I wish I took more pictures before I cried and ruined my makeup.  They had not one, not two but three different live bands.
