Garden Projects, Cousin's Wedding and Beautiful Venue!

My mum and dad came for a couple of days to help with the garden projects and then there were three days celebrating my baby cousin's wedding.

The garden has been very neglected over the last few months and so it was really important for me to try and get on top of it. Luckily, both my mum and dad volunteered to come down and help so at the start of the week, my mum came down. It was an incredibly hot day so we went for a lovely summer's walk to have lunch at my nearby favourite place, before gardening in the afternoon for a few hours and I was so happy with how it was looking. Whilst I cut down, mum tidied and we worked well as a team.

A few days later, my dad came down and the garden looked a bit of a mess again. He came and cut down 3 trees and got rid of a lot of waste as well from my land, but behind my fence line. There was so much garden waste, it's filled 4 bins already and still got some left. Of course, my dad's not quite as neat and tidy so it took forever to try and tidy it up and it still makes me sad looking at it.
After a few shifts at work, I then had a week off for my baby cousin's wedding. I was still a little torn between what outfit to wear, but ultimately I decided to go with my new green dress. I felt so pretty in it when I tried it on but at the wedding, it felt really meh in it, which was a shame.
The day was so much fun and absolutely beautiful. I was a little stressed at the beginning because the three first cousin's had been asked to do readings during the ceremony. I had the longest one unfortunately and I hate public speaking so I was so nervous. Ultimately it went well, and the rest of the day was perfect and so chilled, hanging and spending time with family.

We stayed overnight at the hotel, and had a lovely breakfast the next day. You could also order a cooked breakfast alongside the continental options. Whilst everyone undecorated from the wedding, I played with my gorgeous nephew outside and had so much fun.
Once everyone was packed and settled, we headed for a little walk around the grounds of the venue. There were like 3 different wedding locations for different sized parties, but each was so beautiful. My favourite was the smallest and whilst I don't ever plan on getting married, if I am ever lucky enough to find another love of my life, smaller is defintely my preference.
