Garden Plans, Masters Submission and Games Night!

After a life focussed on dissertation writing recently, I finally got to spend time in the garden and with friends after submitting my final Master's assessment!

I had a few days of finishing up my Master's dissertation and it's been a little busy, so I defintely needed some downtime. As I was nearing the end, I wanted a little rest and relaxation to reset before doing some final changes and proof reads. I had a busy morning concentrating, before making a lovely Sunday roast, have a Lush bath bomb bath and changing the bed to clean sheets. I felt very lovely afterwards.

I later submitted my dissertation 24 hours later and didn't quite get the relief I had expected. I had planned to read it through one more time, but the next day, I had planned everything in advance for a relaxing day. Instead, my cleaners let me down and never arrived. Never even contacted me to inform or apologies. I was shocked.

I ended up spending the morning cleaning the house and doing a little bit of gardening too. The majority of the time was spent trying and failing to fix my vacuum that suddenly broke. It was very frustrating and not the relaxing day I had planned. I also got a lovely package from Stackers but sadly, all three products were damaged in some way. I ended up speaking to the team and luckily, they're sending replacements for two of them and also sending me the last in stock item of a bed pocket which is exciting. I also tried on and decided on the last of my wedding guest dresses, then returned the other items I was no longer keeping.
Finally, it was time to relax. I set up the garden and did some food prep, before putting in the pizzas. I went shopping earlier and had ordered some pizzas. When I picked them up, they were huge and didn't even fit in my fridge which was crazy! We had a very chilled evening just chatting and talking, and catching up. Then one left just after 9pm, so we moved inside to play Hues and Clues instead.
