Yorkshire Show 2014! (Flashback Friday)

Image
This week was the Great Yorkshire Show week and I recorded a lot this year but a couple of years ago I only got one clip. So I thought it was appropriate to share that, for this week's flashback friday! Ever since I was little, I've always been fascinated by the sheep shearing. I could easily sit there watching all day but usually I just stay for an hour of so. With so many other things to do, it's hard to fit everything in. Click here for the video. The Secret Life of Pets (Review)

I think everyone, from adults to children, were all excited for this movie ever since the teaser trailer was released almost a year ago! Click here to watch the trailer. So the film starts with a short Minions film, who after watching a commercial advertising a blender, take up landscaping so they can purchase it. Being Minions, not everything goes quite right. Of course, once they've got it, something better comes up and it all begins again. Personally, I'm really not a fan of the Minions so watching this unexpected bonus felt like torture. From the trailer I got the impression that this film was focussed on the alternate reality that animals get up to while their owners are at work. I honestly thought it was one of the best trailers of the year and it really built up the anticipation for the movie. on the other hand, the film was a little bit of a let down. Everything funny about the project was included in the trailer. So yes, there are some funny moments but ...

The Legend of Tarzan (Review)

I can't even begin to describe how incredible this movie is and I am so glad I saw it on opening night! I'm really loving that all the cartoons and disney movies are being made into the new adult range and slightly scary genre. When I saw the trailer I knew I wanted to see it and I was counting down the days but I didn't expect it to be anywhere near as amazing as it was. Click here to see the trailer or watch below. I've loved Margot Robbie's work ever since she played Donna in Neighbours and as an avid watcher - since pretty much birth! - I have followed a lot of the actors and actresses that have left the Australian soap. I feel oddly proud and honoured to have watched her grow and see this incredible actress she has become. This is by far my favourite of her work and in my opinion her best work yet.  On the other hand, I remember Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd from True Blood and that's all I've ever really known him from. I never found him attract...

Disclaimer: I apologise to everyone who voted on my twitter poll; I promise those posts are coming but I've packed so much into my week that I haven't had time to write any updated posts. I meant to post this before the results came out but I had so many posts backed up and I think even though I've now got my results, I would still like it as I reminder... ____________________________ Everyone said it wouldn’t be any harder. Everyone said university isn’t a step up but a step across. Don’t believe them. Don’t take their word for it. They lie. At least for me. University was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I love living alone, I loved being independent, I love being able to do what I wanted, when I wanted to do it. But making new friends isn’t easy for me. I find it hard to make friends let alone become confident enough in that friendship to let them in, to open up and be me. Being in a flat with no friends is hard. I’ve always been relatively mature...

YouTube Weekly Vlogs?!

Image
I don't know if you've noticed but so far throughout summer I've been posting (at least) one vlog a week, every Monday, over on my YouTube channel. It was one of my summer goals to try and vlog regularly and I am so glad that I have stuck to it. It's been a little challenging at times and I'm still not always comfortable vlogging in public, as in talking to the camera with it facing me, but I am slowly but surely remembering to record and not just take pictures! I used to post all the vlogs over here on my blog too and share a write up of the day/week along with pictures but I just have so much to write about and so little time, that I've started to just post them over on YouTube. If you miss the pictures, let me know in the comments below and I may write them up as well. 4 posts a week? But until then, be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you don't miss any and be ready at 5pm every Monday for a new vlog. I've listed my most recent vlog dow...
