Convo's with a 4 year old!

Image
If you haven't watch last week's vlog or blog post, go see those first! There were far too many cute conversations I had with my niece and I didn't even catch half of them so I decided to pull out a handful of my favourites and throw them into a separate video. Click here to watch the vlog or see below! Conversations with a x year old always end up being cute videos and I love that I have Bop's little conversations captured forever. I was dying looking back on the conversation about the baby!

Fifty Shades Darker (Review)

Image
After reading the books the summer they went big and watching the first film in the trilogy on opening day, I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of Fifty Shade Darker!  Click here to watch the trailer or see below. I love all the outfits. I think the costume design department did an incredible. They had so many different people to dress and so many different looks. Because the movie was so fast paced, there were so many events but it was lovely to see all the different ball gowns especially.  Once again, they blew me away with the music. I remember sitting in the theatre afterwards just thinking how perfectly they nailed every single scene with the music and atmosphere created. Each song fit just right, like they were written for it. There were so many good songs and now each time I hear them, I'll be reminded of the scene.  I might not have been blown away but I can't wait for the final installment of the trilogy!  Incredibly, Jamie Dornan’...

Matilda the Musical (Review)

Image
After seeing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Aladdin already this year, I wasn't expecting to see another London West End Musical anytime soon but when my mum came for a visit to London she had another plan. I wasn't to complain!  Click here to buy tickets to Matilda the Musical and here to watch the trailer. We were in Covent Garden saying goodbye to my cousin who was going travelling for a while and as we were heading back to my new flat, we decided last minute to get tickets. Matilda was on my list of shows to see put it wasn't a big priority for me. Boy was I wrong! I don't know if my expectations were super low or if really was an incredible show, but I was quite honestly blown away. I loved the Happy Birthday song and how all the children and adults/parents interacted seamlessly. I found the whole adults and pupils really interesting and clever. It worked really well as they did the trickier sequences while still allowing the children to sho...

Babysitting and Crafting with a 4 year old! / DITL!

Image
Last weekend, I headed to see my sister and stayed for the weekend. My sister and her husband were coming to London for a trip while I stayed and babysat my gorgeous niece Bop and the little - much bigger - puppy, Tess.  I attempted my first ever Day in the Life so go ahead and watch here or below! I usually take so, so many pictures and I love it but I barely got any because I was recording. I guess I can't have both so I'm going to have to pick which one. I literally took no pictures of crafting even though that was the majority of the day. Oops! We painted some cute little dinosaurs, made some plates, some valentine's day cards and lots of hand prints. We also played, loved, hugged, watched TV and messed with some playdough! I did take both Bop and Tess to the park which was oh so cute but we had to bring Tess back halfway through because she was freaking out. I actually feel really bad now because I should have just let her run and chase the ball but I did...
