Hen Party Weekend and Bridesmaid Dress Fitting!

Image
Saturday was a fun filled wedding day. In the morning we went bridesmaid dress fitting, went to look at the wedding venue and finished with a lovely breakfast. My cousins and I went to decorate the casino ready for the hen party and then we got all glammed up for some betting!  Click here to watch the weekly vlog or see below!  Having selected the bridesmaid dresses a few months ago now, we each had them ordered in, in UK sizes. While they were supposed to be close, they weren't exact fits. I'm still annoyed that I didn't put my foot down at the time and say I wanted a 12 instead of a 14 because it was a perfect fit. Nevertheless, right now, I hate my dress. The dress fitter will hopefully work some magic and be able to help make me feel more comfortable. I need to have it taken in massively and then the whole dress taken up because the neckline is so low right now, plus the length but we all do because we are so short!  Afterwards, we went to the weddi...

My Dream Dinner Party Guest List!

Image
Recently, a lot of people have been sharing their dream dinner party guest list. I loved this topic and it really got me thinking! I think it's been interesting to look at some of the other responses, and see their's compared to mine, which are a little bit more modern. 1. Hilary Duff - Growing up with Lizzie McGuire and Disney, I was obsessed with Hilary Duff. To this day, A Cinderella Story is still my all time favourite film. Now with Luca and another baby on the way, I would love to talk to her about her music, acting and motherhood. She's superwoman and one of the few Disney stars who didn't fall off the rails. 2. Jenson Button - As my favourite Formula One driver I was devastated when he retired. Despite, the challenges of his last few years racing, he remained upbeat and positive. I think his self-drive, passion and determination kept me going at some of my worst moments. 3. Emilia Clarke - Game of Thrones wouldn't be where it is today without Emili...

My Favourite LipSense Colours (Summer 2018)

Image
Today's Style Saturday post is inspired by one of my favourite things in the world - and I'm totally not biased! LipSense is one of my favourite makeup products and I genuinely feel bare without a colour on my lip. I've done a few Favourite LipSense editions but this Summer Edition is making me so excited right now. I usually do 5 but I couldn't pick just 5 so I went for 6. 1. Honey Rose: This is my all time favourite LipSense Lip Colour! It's a beautiful rose gold with an amber frost. It's not quite a true coral but I've also been loving Summer Sunset and Heartbreaker. 2. Bombshell: I've always loved Bombshell because it goes with everything but I've been loving it for nights out recently. I've been enjoying wearing a bolder eye with a softer lip colour. 3. Plumeria: Who doesn't love a bright lip in a heatwave?! I've been loving this dark pink, topped with a golden shimmer. 4. Goddess: This shows up as a soft pink on most ...

Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again (Review)

Image
The sequel to Mamma Mia has finally arrived and we've only waited 10 years. Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again is amazing.  Click here to watch the trailer or see below.  The film picks up a number of years after the first but we're not quite sure how many. The whole story is very loose on specific details, but it turns out Donna has died. I don't think it's too much of a spoiler because it was made pretty clear in the trailer but I thought it would explain how in the film...but no.  Despite some of the details changing between the first and the second film, I didn't care. I loved seeing Young Donna and her 3 love's. I thought it was absolutely hilarious and care free and all of them were beautiful in their own ways. I loved Harry's awkwardness, Bill's feminism and Sam's romantic nature. They all have a special place in her heart and it's obvious as to why.  Donna's friends still come back from the dream opening on the newly re...

Thriva: LIVE At Home Blood Test (Review)

Image
Thriva recently reached out to me and asked me to review one of their incredible kits. Thriva is a company that started in 2016 with the aim of building the world's first preventative health service. There is no simple and convenient way to track what's really going on inside your body which means most people are forced to wait until something goes wrong until they can react. They want to change that.  I filmed the whole process so you can watch my first attempt at using the kit live. Click here or watch below. The whole process took about 15 minutes from start to finish.  What is it? Thriva comprises of a kit sent to your house, in order to monitor your health. You simply do a finger-prick blood test from the comfort of your own home and get results in 48 hours. There are no big needles, appointments or time off required. There are 3 different kits to choose when it comes to Thriva. Each of these have a different price point and the more expensive the ...
