My Dream Dinner Party Guest List!
Recently, a lot of people have been sharing their dream dinner party guest list. I loved this topic and it really got me thinking! I think it's been interesting to look at some of the other responses, and see their's compared to mine, which are a little bit more modern.
1. Hilary Duff - Growing up with Lizzie McGuire and Disney, I was obsessed with Hilary Duff. To this day, A Cinderella Story is still my all time favourite film. Now with Luca and another baby on the way, I would love to talk to her about her music, acting and motherhood. She's superwoman and one of the few Disney stars who didn't fall off the rails.
2. Jenson Button - As my favourite Formula One driver I was devastated when he retired. Despite, the challenges of his last few years racing, he remained upbeat and positive. I think his self-drive, passion and determination kept me going at some of my worst moments.
3. Emilia Clarke - Game of Thrones wouldn't be where it is today without Emilia Clarke. She's absolutely amazing at everything she does and knowing her as Khaleesi yet seeing her portray much softer characters, like Louisa Clark in Me Before You, is beautiful. I want to ask her all about her charity work and how she coped with her rapid road to fame.
4. Barak Obama - Who doesn't want to talk to Barak? I think he is one of the most special men in this era. He seems so genuine and sincerely tries to do the right thing. I would love to discuss politics and everything in the world.
5. Stephenie Meyer - Stephenie is my favourite author, and yes, I was a huge fan of The Twilight Sage but it isn't my favourite book. That falls to The Host. I love reading and writing and would love to talk about both with her.
6. William Shakespeare - Compared to my other answers this seems a little odd but I am a huge fan of Shakespeare's plays as well and I think it would be fascinating to talk to the man behind them. I always found English tiresome...did he really pick that colour because of all those reasons or just because he liked the colour? So many questions and so much to ask. I would love his opinion on women playing women and would love to know which play was his favourite.
So they are my 6 guests! Who would you pick? Why?
