I don't usually like the Birchbox drawer boxes but this month's design was too beautiful to refuse. The box was in a stunning white marble with rose gold details.
Plus the colour scheme went perfectly with my little #makeaflatahome feature in my bedroom!
Onto the products...
This month's selectable product was between two eyeshadows. Vanilla Frosting or Fifty Shades. Clearly inspired by the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise.
At first I used this as a full colour eye shadow but it's far too pigmented. However, this is gorgeous as a brow bone highlighter and inner corner. I will be using this all the time as I have almost finished my Naked Pallette one that I use all the time. This is so highly pigmented, I feel like it will last forever. It's shimmey, gorgeous and long lasting.
I've been a big fan of the Spectrum brushes since I was first introduced to them. They are now the only brushes I use on my eyes. They are so pretty, cheap and durable. Simply perfect!
I have terrible acne, especially at the moment while revising and stressing about exams so I was excited when I first saw this. Personally, I didn't see much difference but the product sample size was tiny and only last 3 days which was a big shame.
I don't wear mascara and I have so many samples but I've never found the one. However, when I put this on, my flatmate noticed a massive difference and said it looked really pretty. So it's a thumbs up from me!
Overall, I loved this month's products! They were all selected really well for me. I am defintely going to use them all! Plus, the eyeshadow is so pretty and pigmented. LOVE!

My dad recently moved to Wales and I finally got the chance to visit him for more than just a few hours.

It was a pretty busy week and very hectic so I ended up coming back utterly exhausted. We did things every day so I've decided to split up the activities over today's and Wednesday's posts!
Following on from wedding week, the day after the wedding, I headed home and watched mum unwrap her presents before she dropped me off at the train station. Well, after a little disaster with a phone and multiple calls later, I missed my train to Wales but luckily, my dad's girlfriend was in Leeds at the time so I went to meet up with her and she gave me a lift down. I was exhausted by the time we arrived but more than happy to finally be reunited with my father. On the way down we picked up a KFC takeaway for tea and then enjoyed a quiet night in front of the telly.
The next morning was my first lie in, in a long time and then I woke …
I've been loving being able to relax for even just a few moments. The weather's been beautiful but broken up by cloud which I've actually been really enjoying. I've been reading a book a day and enjoying aqua aerobics each day before moving to the more adult orientated pools which allow you to swims lengths.
The evening show was a variety showed made up mainly of different dances and while the humour acts weren't necessarily what I enjoyed the most, I did find one act in particular absolutely hilarious. I was literally dying watching the audience participation. The second rehearsal was by far the best but I only managed to record the last version which was kung fu themed.
I did manage to get to the beach for the morning stroll after breakfast. I've been waking up a little earlier than usual and i…
