One of my friends, Hannah, said to be recently that I should write a book. I love reading and in the past, I have in fact written some short stories of my own. I would have to look for them but I definitely still have them. Whether they would be up for consumption by others though is a different question entirely because they were written so long ago I can barely remember them. Another friend, Maria, has shared a few short stories on her blog which can be found here. While I usually read blog posts either first thing in the morning or last thing at night she's a clever author and old-fashioned in a way so they're not quite as easy to read because they're a little heavy and require just that little bit extra time and attention. I would never have called myself a massive Harry Potter fan because while I loved the movies, growing up, I always thought the books went into far too much detail about minute details and it lost the excitement for me. Admittedly, I have since read them all again and they have grown on me but I don't think they'll ever be my favourites. To start, I think the release date chosen is truly magical. Not only is it JK Rowling's birthday but Harry Potter's too and it seems only fitting that the celebratory release party be associated with the date. I think I may have been the only one but oddly I was actually surprised that the book was published as a play. For some reason I was expecting it to have been converted to a novel book. For sure, I knew it had been written as a play but definitely wasn't expecting to read it as one. You probably know that I also have a YouTube channel and if you've come over from there for a deeper explanation on the holiday accident and why I'm so upset with my vlogs, or lack of them, I'll start by saying I'm sorry! At the start of the summer my goal was to put up two videos a week. The first, my Flashback Friday series on every Friday and the second, a weekly vlog on Monday. Up until last week, I was really impressed that I had succeeded in this. Not only had I been uploading twice a week but often I'd been posting multiple vlogs e.g. a weekend with my sister (2) and the Great Yorkshire Show (3). My last 2 Monday videos have been slightly different with a  Birchbox Opening and a House Tour and then last week I missed an upload completely because I was on holiday for 8 days and so I didn't have my laptop to edit and upload on. I thought that it would be fine because the following week I would have 7 vlogs going up! Like in Egypt last year  and Paris...

Back in 2014, the big challenge of the year was the Ice Bucket Challenge. At my sister's 30th birthday party, her partner and family did it and then I followed a week later. I remember being suddenly nervous just before pouring the bucket over my head. I didn't realise until afterwards, I looked to the skies like God would help me or something...haha! :') Click here to watch the video. Scroll through for pictures. The most important thing to remember was that this challenge was there for a reason and that reason was to raise awareness for a major debilitating illness. 

I've been blogging now for over three years and while my private blog is daily, I have now reached over 2000 posts on here! Crazy right?! Similarly, I started posting video clips over three years ago but I have consistently posted vlogs on YouTube in the past year. In the past I've only shares my content on Google+ . This is mainly because my Google+ profile isn't really linked to to any other personal social media sites even though it is linked from. About a month ago I started posting the vlogs on Twitter and when I remember, because unfortunately it won't do it automatically, I share the blog posts as well. Instagram is probably the best place to share them but I also don't want to annoy normal friends so I'm almost tempting not to but I do often go back to a post from the week before and write a new comment linking to the vlogs and posts with hashtags. Hearing the name, I wasn't that enthralled with the idea but after reading and hearing reviews I was desperate to see it. No one had anything the positive reviews and I have to admit, I agree. Without a doubt, this new play coming to London has opened my eyes to the amazing storytelling through dance. Everything about this West End production comes together so perfectly and it never stops being entertaining, interactive and enjoyable. At times it has some features of a pantomime with the booing, cheering and hoots of laughter but unlike the annoyances that sometimes happen when it is overused, it was thoroughly enjoyable. A couple months ago now, I went on a mini trip to Paris. I don't know why I'm still calling it a trip but it was really holiday. I'm just used to my holiday being a hot and relaxing one, spent swimming in a pool most of the time. Nevertheless, it was a holiday but it was very busy and I tried to fit as much as possible into the day. Originally, I'd planned out my entire four days and put lots of different trips at scheduled times into my basket but right when I was about to pay I discovered something called the Paris Pass . When I looked at the package I thought it was pretty amazing, it would give me more freedom because I wouldn't have to be on such a tight schedule with set times and it would force me to get out and actually do more things. I didn't particularly think that there would be that much difference in cost but the big plus was that a lot of the attractions had free fast track entry so I could skip the queues at a lot of places.
