Gruum: Fragrance Rollers (Review)

I've used Gruum a few times over the years and usually it's a free product or sample through another purchase. This time was no different, but bar far my favourite product to date! Gruum is inspired by the Scandinavian principles of design and functionality, yet based in the UK. They sell skin, hair and, self care products that are kind to both the environment and you.

I've previously used their cleanser and shampoo and conditioner bars. I personally don't love these, but not because of the products themselves, because I find the products generally okay, although they do take some time to get used to. It's more so the storage and lack of ease of transport. They do sell container tins, but as they were both samples, I didn't go to purchase.

This time, the product was very different, they were fragrance rollers! When I've looked online, I can only see them available as a 12 month purchase so you get one for each month, rather than one for each season, which I still think is great value.

They came in a beautiful well packaged recyclable box, which ideally fit through my letterbox. It was fitted with inserts so each roller stayed perfectly placed. I loved how they selected one for each season and separated the scents with colour and details.
Each scent is a pocket sized, discreet roll-on fragrance which you can conveniently apply anywhere. They advise to roll them on pulse points at neck and wrists or apply behind the ears. I can be quite sensitive to smells, so often I struggle with scents, especially on my neck, but I found whilst these can be strong when first applied, they softly fade into the background, yet stay for hours as a toned down fragrance which I prefer.

Spring was Bluebell and Musk, which was the perfect floral blend. Summer was Grapefruit and Bergamot, which was my favourite with a sweet and zingy hue. Autumn was Amber and Cardamom, bringing a deep warmth and honestly, not my favourite as it was quite strong. When wearing this one, I will definitely avoid the neck area. Winter was Black Pepper and Cedar and it surprised me at how much I did like this one and the spicy cosiness feels.

As an added bonus, they're also alcohol free, so they are created extra gently with naturally soothing oils rich in vitamins that are kind to your skin. Sunflower seed, rose geranium, orange peel and jasmine ensure no irritation.

I absolutely loved these! I love the scents, I love the variety, I love the consistency. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!
