Why GLP-1 Patches vs Medication?
Last week I talked about GLP-1, how it works and specifically GLP-1 Kind Patches, but why did I pick patches instead of medication? When researching, I came across GLP-1 patches and I thought they sounded great.
After consistently struggling with my weight for a long time, I've been very much considering taking medication, for the last year, to help with weight loss. I've heard and seen such great things with injectables, like Ozempic, but I've also seen some horrifying effects as well. Alongside this, there is a number of other reasons why I didn't jump straight on. There is the simple fact that there is a shortage of the medication, and knowing that it is needed for diabetics as life saving treatment, I struggled to be able to know I was taking that away from them. It is also incredibly expensive at over £150 a month for the supply required, and of course it's an invasive injection you have to administer yourself. Likewise, both pills and Ozempic have other unknown long-term effects.
Kind Patches are engineered for a controlled release of ingredients through the skin. While the skin naturally blocks many substances from entering the body, transdermal patches are specifically formulated to penetrate this barrier. They deliver ingredients straight into the bloodstream, which bypasses the digestive system, potentially enhancing bioavailability and minimising the risk of stomach upset or digestive problems.
They are also designed to gradually release their ingredients over a predetermined period for a steady and not sudden concentration. This sustained release ensures a more predictable and steady effect for a better and more pleasant experience. Over pills and medication, they also deliver a longer lasting effect, providing consistent support for your metabolism and overall wellness.
I'm excited to share my results soon!
