Welfare Wednesday: Gratitude

😊 Today’s society is generally very materialistic. This has created an environment where people are always wanting more, better, something else, instead of enjoying the things that we have an being grateful for that.

😊 Gratitude practice can help you to achieve better health. The Science of Gratitude outlines several benefits. It increases happiness, reduces burnout, improves sleep and encourages resilience.

😊 Start small. Instead of thinking about everything that has gone wrong during the day, start to think about one thing that has gone right. This can be as simple as waking up early and not rushing in the morning, to tanking someone for cooking tea for you after a long day.

😊 Cultivating gratitude doesn’t cost money and it doesn’t take much time, but the benefits are enormous.
