Welfare Wednesday: Working Online During Coronavirus

๐Ÿ’ป Self-care during this pandemic is crucial to look after ourselves so today, I thought I'd share some tips to get through isolation, lock down and especially, working online at home.

๐Ÿ’ป Create a routine: There is so much that we can't control right now, but what we can control is what we do with our own lives each day. Have a shower, get dressed and have consistent meal/sleep schedule so that the day's don't blur into one.

๐Ÿ’ป Organise your work space: For those working and for those studying, having a dedicated area dedicated to "business" that is free from distraction and clutter is important and crucial. It should be quiet and not be the centre of attention outside working hours. You need to be able to enjoy downtime too.

๐Ÿ’ป Me time: Setting time for yourself each day has never been more crucial. Whether there is a project you've been wanting to do or simply a small pamper session, do something you enjoy that is for self-love or self-growth.

๐Ÿ’ป Exercise: There are so many free workouts going on every single day online. Companies and individuals are creating and sharing amazing at home workouts with little equipment needed. It is a great way to release endorphins, improve mood and fill the spare time in the day.

๐Ÿ’ป Breathe: Probably the most important to remember is that you shouldn't be too harsh on yourself. You are doing your best. Take a few minutes each day to practice meditation with some breathing exercises to reflect and reduce stress.
