Dorothy Perkins is well known for being my favourite clothing shop and over Easter, my last pair of jeans/jeggings tore on the inner leg and were no longer wearable. My partner told me that they'd been bought over by Boohoo and so I thought I'd have another look to see if my favourite jeggings were back. They were! So I decided to treat myself to a few new pieces and get a little summer haul.
My first and favourite item was this beautiful yellow floral dress. Its fitted and the top and then really floaty. I love the bouncy sleeves and deep neckline.
The other item I fell in love with was this
green tunic. I can't decide if I prefer it as a dress or a top, but I love that it's versatile which is great given the British weather. The top is fitted and layered. The
leggings are also new. They're thick black ones, with a high waistline.
I bought another pair of leggings in
army green, more so for exercise, plus the
jeans of my dreams. Paired with these I wore some vests. I actually got these in a
three pack (black, white and green) and thought they would be perfect for cooler days when layering with other clothing.
I also bought some
fake black leather trousers, which I don't seem to have pictures of, but you can see in my latest
vlog. I've wanted a pair for a while, but sadly they didn't fasten. I also returned these
yellow trousers. I genuinely loved them, but they seemed to be stretched tight at the waist so I think I probably would need the next size up.
