Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (Review)

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is the sequel to Jurassic World which I loved. My sister and I went on opening day and it was a packed cinema, despite being lunch time! Click here for the trailer or watch below.
Following on from the collapse of the dinosaur theme park, this film focuses on saving the last remaining ones from the island as the active volcano is about to erupt. But once Clare is recruited into the mission, the plan she's aware of changes and the trio only just make it off the island.
I loved that the action started straight away. In fact, my sister and I almost missed it but we made it just in time. There's one thing after another and it's an adrenaline-raising script.

One of my favourite parts were seeing the throwback clips of baby Blue. It's lovely to see the relationship the two share and I thought it made everything connect just a little more. Especially because the raptor is the basis of the new mission so it somewhat puts the reasoning into more context.
As with the last film, I loved the special effects and the creation of all the dinosaurs. It was really amazing to see them all come to life again but I also love how they are created. The film isn't just BAM! there are suddenly dinosaurs. Instead it involves science and genetic modification, which from my perspective is super fascinating.
One of the things I found interesting was that the film again involves a small child. This time in the form of a grandchild of the creators of Jurassic Park. The plot twist towards the end is somewhat shocking but also amazing. I won't spoil it but be sure to let me know what you think, when you know.
Overall, I really enjoyed the whole film. I thought the high intensity scenes worked really well and I was somewhat surprised at the entire plot. There also seemed to be shock after shock so it definitely wasn't what I expected. Given the ending, I can't wait to see the next instalment! Relationships, children and the new predators of the world. *SPOILER: Jurassic Earth?!*
Will you be watching Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom? Have you already? What did you think?
