I shared my decoration haul on Wednesday with links to most of the items and details on them, but I also wanted to share a little post showing off the finished products! I think it all came together perfectly. I'm a little OCD about colour scheme and simplicity, so I'm glad I found pieces to fit in each room. What do you think?
Being a first time "home owner/renter" I got to buy my first tree and it was so fun to pick and decorate! Here is is and I love it!
Other than that, the lounge was pretty basic with some tinsel above the canvas mountains and around the tv. I also popped my friends knitted snowflakes on the tv stand and whilst I originally wanted something much larger (such as light up presents) on the dining room table, I popped my reindeer then instead. They're a little small but still work well!
The kitchen had some hanging decorations, including my
homemade tree banner from a few years ago. I made this so long ago and it still looks lovely, albeit doesn't necessarily go in any room in my house sadly.
Of course, I also had to find a little home for my antlers and advent calendar. I think this little spot worked perfectly and now I want to get a head band for EVER season!
The hallway and stairway had matching pinecone and snow frosted wreaths and garlands. Whilst the top landing, had two additional knitted stars.
The last room I decorated was my bedroom. I kept it pretty simple with pink/grey/white/red. It matched the decor perfectly and makes the place feel so much cosier. I am absolutely in love with the basic bedding too.
