Knitte: Dreamcatcher (Review)

I could have sworn I wrote this post already, but it seems to have disappeared so here we go again. I am so excited to share the latest addition to my master bedroom. I can't tell you how happy I am with this new decor piece and it is beyond gorgeous.

I have been following Annie at Knitte for years on Instagram. I love all her products and the beauty she creates with wire and wool. I have wanted to purchase something, but I've never known what to choose. A lot of the items I love, I imagine in the perfect children's room or baby's nursery. I am sure I will be purchasing them in the future!

Anyway, I saw these dreamcatchers pop up and I thought with everything going on at the moment, I need all the help I can with sleep and dreams. I thought the colours would hopefully tie in all the colours in my bedroom which just seemed perfect.
The only problem was that when I went to select the colours, I was torn between a number of different alternatives. I ended up conversing back and forth a little with the owner on messenger and she went above and beyond to help me with the selection. Ultimately, she suggested that she could send me some samples of the colours and I thought that was perfect.
I am so glad I did because I was really leaning towards the colours that I ended up absolutely hating and I would have been so disappointed. From the website, I thought Light Grey, Bottle and Parchment would be the leading shades, but they defintely weren't! Light Grey ended up being too light, so I went for Dark Grey. Bottle would have been the complete wrong shade of green and far too bright. Parchment was too light and Stone was a much better match for my carpet. The colours I ultimately selected were: Petrol, Cypress, Strone, Dark Grey, Gold and Sage.

When the package came I was so excited. It was a little damaged on arrival, and it looked a little beaten, but I think it was sadly because the box was quite thin cardboard. It had lots of shredded paper to protect the product, with tissue paper wrapped around. It was also secured to the box with strings so it didn't move, but my dreamcatcher still got a little damaged in the shipping as all the beads fell off. It took me forever to thread them through but eventually I did!
I cannot even begin to explain how excited I was to put this in place and I just think it's one of the most beautiful things I have ever purchased. Every time I see it, it makes me smile. If you're looking for something that adds a little extra touch to your room, which is catered to your exact requirements, this is the brand for you!
