Stackers: Handbag (Review)

After Stackers launched so many beautiful products, they started to release bags. I have wanted to treat myself to their Garment bag for years and just when I was about to buy it, I realised that I really wanted to purchase it in partnership with my now ex-boyfriend. I had this vision of us matching on overnight stays and short city breaks. Instead, I decided to get their handbag instead. I loved the look of it and thought that it would be perfect with all the compartments, but also it had a small clothing section at the bottom. 

Described as having a place for everything, this faux leather handbag features multiple internal compartments including a padded quilted laptop sleeve, two elasticated side pockets, a space for your phone, 2 internal drinks pockets, as well as a zipped pocket. The base has a large zipped compartment with a removal drawstring pouch. Plus, the bag has both handles and a removable shoulder strap. It can be fitted over suitcase handles and has protective studs on the base, to prevent the bottom from being damaged. Finally, it also comes with a matching purse which can be attached or used separately. It can be taken from work to the gym, from the night to the weekend.

When the bag first arrived I was blown away. It was absolutely beautiful in every way and I was so impressed with the quality. It even came in a cloth protective bag. I can't help but keep it on display in my bedroom because it's so lovely. 

I have to say, the functionality of the bag is where it let me down a little. I love the bottom compartment for a change of clothes and shoes, but the main compartment is so tight and small. The phone pocket barely fits in my phone and the laptop sleeve only just fits a small iPad in it. The drinks areas are actually quite short and so most bottles don't actually fit unfortunately. I'm hoping it will get more flexible over time as the leather softens but we shall see.
