Skin + Me: Daily Defence Sunscreen (Review)

It's been a while since I shared a post on Skin + Me, but with the launch of their newly released sunscreen product, I thought it was the perfect time to share the love again. As a reminder, Skin + Me is a company which provides scientifically-proven, prescription strength based on your unique, personal skincare needs. Last month they launched a  sunscreen which couldn't have come at a better time, given the incredible heatwave we've been having in the UK. I have been using it almost daily and I absolutely love it! Once again, it's designed by dermatologists, protects skin from UVA and UVB rays and contains SPF 50. As with their other products, the sunscreen packaging is made from recyclable aluminium and card from FSC registered forests. This ensures it is sustainable, whilst also allowing every drop be to be used with it's unique foldable design. The only negative I found is that when I first opened the bottle, the product did pop out when the foil seal was released.

The cream is so easy to apply. It is perfect for even oily skin tones and I am always hesitant about suncreams but this one is so lovely to apply. It goes on so smoothly and easily. It absorbs quickly into the skin and provides a great foundation to apply makeover over if wanted. I haven't burnt once since using this, and in all honesty, I'm not the best at reapplying throughout the day. 

There are three key ingredients. Niacinamide is a soothing antioxidant, which regulates oil production, smooths skin texture and strengthens your skin barrier. Vitamin E is an antioxidant and emollient, protecting the skin from UVB rays and pollutants. It keeps skin hydrated and fades fine lines and wrinkles too. They also include, next generation sunscreen filters for optimum protection from UVA and UVB rays, all year round.
