Chatty Bake with Me - Gluten Free Cookies FAILURE!

After the crazy weather, I decided to stay inside and make some cookies! I'm absolutely terrible at baking cookies. It's the one thing that I never seem to get right so I was feeling really hopeful about how these would turn out!

I went ahead and used the Betty Crocker box mix so that it was super easy and hassle free. 

Other than a bowl and a spoon to mix, the only two ingredients I needed were an egg and some oil. Plus a tablespoon to measure. 

The ingredients mixed very easily but I do think the recipe called for a little too much oil as my batter was left very oily and it didn't quite fuse together.

Then I simply rolled the dough into balls and placed them on a baking tray. Unfortunately, I didn't have any baking paper so I used foil instead. I also should have pressed the balls down a little to get them flatter.

Well as you can see they turned out absolutely horrendous. They were burnt on the outside and uncooked on the inside. I tried squishing them down which made them a little nicer but not by much.
