Affirmation Cards (Review)
Some of you may have been following since last summer, when I became a qualified Hypnobirthing Instructor. I absolutely loved my training and I have loved being able to implement it into my practice. I could build a business around it as well, but I am currently busy with everything else in my life, so I'm just enjoying sharing posts on the topic and also being able to support women in my clinical role as well. Today, I wanted to quickly share a product I have been gifted in exchange for an honest review and I think it links well with both hypnobirthing, but also my focus of this blog in general: positivity.
These cards are from Mal Paper. The company takes inspiration from the Scandinavian minimalist and clutter-free way of living, which if you know me, is also my mantra. I've also been recently having an autumn "spring clean", especially organising the kitchen! I can't wait to share with you all, that post soon! As a result, they create simplistic and effective productivity tools that help people focus on wellness, fulfilment and potential. They hope their products help produce: "positive daily habits - with the end result of a happier, calmer and more productive way of living". I just love that!
I really think they are beautiful. I love the simplicity of them. The box is black and white, very clean and can easily displayed in any home. The purpose is clear yet the description on the back of the box opens up further avenues of conversation. The cards themselves have black backs with the companies logo, then white background with black writing on the front. The font is large, easy to read and the statements are simple and short. I also love that they have some key words highlighted in italics to allow the user to focus and visualise.
Affirmations are positive statements written in the present tense to help you practise new ways of thinking about yourself. It helps get the conscious mind in sync with a specific aim and gives an alternative for any negative thinking. They aren’t actually a form of hypnosis but some people associate similarities. As such, they can be listened to consciously and be practiced. When you repeat them often, and believe in them, you can start to make positive changes to your life for a happier more productive day.
If you want to buy your own pack, click here or see some of the other products from Mal Paper. Quick secret, they're all perfect.
