Hotels through Booking.com with WeShop (USA and Canada 2024)

I was originally going to share travel plans for each city I've visiting on my travels, but given how many there are, I've decided to just share two posts. Today I'm going to be sharing the hotels that I've picked to stay at and next week I will be sharing the highlights for each location. I will be sharing lots of posts from the trip when I get back, with some detailed reviews!

When booking the hotels for this trip, I knew I wanted to stick to a budget and try to find a more affordable option, but it was important for me to feel comfortable. A priority was having my own private bathroom and being in a hotel seemed the only place to ensure this. I felt the best options for accommodations looked modern, clean and simple.

I ended up booking them all through Booking.com and also getting cashback on them through We Shop. WeShop is a buying platform linked to many other companies and websites. You simply need to open an account and you start to earn money back on the purchases you are already making. If you use my link to sign up, you get an additional bonus too.

The first stop is New York. New York is really expensive so I was very thankful to find the BeHome by LuxUrban Hotel. It was also in an absolutely perfect location! I don't think I could have got a much better area. It's surrounded restaurants, walking distance to Times Square and Central Park and easily accessible to public transport routes.

In Niagara Falls, I looked at a lot of places because the hotels were surprisingly cheap but when I looked at a lot of the reviews of the area, they recommended staying on the Canadian side of the falls because apparently they are much prettier and better. I found a cheap but nice hotel, that included breakfast called The Falls Inn and it looked like it overlooked the falls which is fun.

San Francisco was seemingly the most expensive city for hotels and it took me a long time to find one that was reasonable. I would have liked a hotel with a pool because I don't think there is quite as much to do compared to the other cities, but they were extortionate. I ended up going for a 3* hotel and it was more of a bed and go situation.

On the cruise, I'll obviously be sleeping on the cruise ship, before moving to Las Vegas for the hotel I'm probably the most excited for, the Flamingo Hotel and Casino! It looks so fun and playful, it's located on the strip but not super central and it was surprisingly cheap compared to some of the other big hotels.

Finally, the last hotel is in Los Angeles and this one is called Found by Santa Monica. The hotels in central LA were a) very expensive and b) not very nice, so I decided to go a little bit further out, but it was also quite central for the three days of activities I had planned, with the beach, Hollywood itself and the theme park.
