A Housemate Christmas Day!

After some celebrations earlier in the week, the house got together to have the absolute cutest mini Christmas!

It was one of our neighbours birthday's so we all headed out to join the celebrations at Frankie and Benny's. To be quite honest the food wasn't great and the service was absolutely terrible. The staff were rude and the food was cold. It wasn't the best and it was made worse by an argument between the guests.
I got home and while the others enjoyed...I'm not sure what...I watched TV and relaxed in the lounge for the first time in a long time. I've been loving wearing my new Dorothy Perkins pyjamas. They're super comfy and cosy and warm. They're everything you need for Christmas!
The next day I had another Dermatology appointment. I ended up bringing the appointment forward a week due to leaving Nottingham for the Christmas holidays so it was just three weeks after my last instead 4 but nevertheless, I didn't need a blood test like I anticipated so I was very happy walking out. They're also upped my dose of Roacutane to 60mg per day so hopefully I'll start to see some results soon.
I'd been telling the girls about the accident on the road to the hospital for a while now and as none of them walked that way for a while, they hadn't seen it so I decided to take a picture to show them. I honestly do not know how someone had crashed so badly into the traffic lights but it must have been a pretty big accident.
I spent the rest of the day relaxing by painting my nails before going for a little trip out to the supermarket for some last minute Christmas supplies for the following day, out housemate Christmas meal.
That night we were meant to have a cute sleepover in the lounge. We set up all the air mattresses on the floor and brought down the bedding ready to watch a nice Christmas film. We got 10 minutes in and all the plans were ruined. One by one everyone left and after switching to The Hangover I made my way to my room as well. Not quite how it was planned...
The next morning, we all woke up bright and early, as if it really was Christmas morning and opened our presents. We had arranged Secret Santa but somehow everyone had figured out who had who which I actually thought was a real shame. I really wanted it to be kept a secret but apparently that isn't what happens in Secret Santa.
Vicki was left in the kitchen to cook, Bea organised her own vegan meal, I laid the table and set out nibbles, while Sam made an apple crumble. I'm not entirely sure where Clare was... LOL!
We had such great fun and couldn't stop laughing the whole day. It was fun and perfect and happy.

The girls did a great job with the food!
We even got Sam to splurge and take a photo on her polaroid! This will forever be one of my favourite shots.
In the evening, we finally managed to watch a Christmas movie with the Netflix Original, The Princess Switch. It was soppy and cliche and everything you want from a cheesy Christmas film. I loved it!
