Aquaman (Review)

I saw the trailer for Aquaman months ago and I've been excited ever since.

Aquaman has been in a few of the previous films in the franchise but we never really learnt anything about him. He literally came out of nowhere and started helping but other than being a muscular, tattooed giant, he was almost unknown.
The film begins straight away with action. We quickly realise Aquaman is not just a brute, he fights for what's right, rescuing those in need, but her doesn't always make the right decisions. Unfortunately, his opening choice comes back to haunt him.
We also learn about his origin and the reality of what makes him Aquaman. This sets about an unlikely mission and as he saves one home, he tries to protect the other.
I love the unique nature of the story line in this film. The acting is incredible and I think it's a really gorgeous sequence of events. Of course, the graphics are amazing with special effects galore but I also love the use of real places across the globe.
Overall, I absolutely adored this film. It's one of my favourites of the year! There's so much more I could write and so much more I want to, but I really don't want to release any spoilers. I want you as the reader to enjoy the film as much as I did, knowing as little as I did!
