Adding Spring Artwork to the House!

With the house projects slowly coming to an end, I decided to add some printed artwork for some final decor touches around the house. I headed to the Desenio website and found such a selection of different types of prints and so many options.
Desenio is an interior decor company, based in Sweeden and specifically has Scandinavian design. If you've followed me for a while, you'll know I am a huge fan of the company. Their foundation is simple: stylish wall art should be affordable to everyone. They have now been open for 13 years and continue to grow year on year. I am so honoured to be a ambassador for the company and am always happy to share their new collections!

Despite being based in mainland Europe, they have online presence in 33 countries and deliver quickly to the UK as well. Postage is free if you spend £50 and orders tend to be received within 2 weeks. As mentioned, they specialise in high quality posters, but also have the option to purchase frames, hangers, picture ledges and clips. The package came unusually in a tube. The box was rectangular, then in a tube and wrapped in a piece of paper with a sticker. All recyclable.
I always try to buy from small companies that focus on sustainability and give back to the planet. Desenio is no different. They print with an eco-conscious paper mill, using only sustainably managed forests certified paper  as coming from. Uncoated, age-resistant paper ensures the durability of prints. They are a Forest Stewardship Council® certified company, therefore high standards are ensured. Additionally, they are partners of Vi Agroforestry, which plants trees and supports the fight against poverty.

I first of all bought some pieces for my kitchen and utility room. I fell in love with the practical design of the measurements and laundry symbols. I had perfect spaces that needed filling and bought matching oak frames to suit. I then also added a little A5 size coffee print next to my coffee station. I personally don't drink coffee but I thought it was a great way to balance the shelf.
I then put the other 4 prints up in my 2 main bedrooms. They are all A3 in size. I loved the 2 pink prints the second I first saw them online. I thought they would be perfect in the spare bedroom, above my bed frame. I love that I have this pink feature wall, but I did think it looked a little bare and needed a touch of something to freshen the space up.
The final 2 prints were for the dead space behind my door in the master bedroom. I did initially want a green and gold print but having already got a few different shades of green in the room, I didn't want another and it was difficult to find a deep forest green print. They have now released some stunning, what they call "Moebe Frames" which are glass, metal picture frames with dried plants inside. I love this idea so I am so tempted to put that underneath as I think a set of three would full the space up a little better.
Overall, I am so happy with the prints. I loved the delivery and the service. They have such a fantastic range of quality prints to select from and service is perfect. If you want to purchase your own prints, you can at Desenio, and if you use my code XJGV214 at checkout to get 10% off your entire purchase.
