In the Name of Love by Katie Price (Review)

Never in a million years would I have ever thought I’d read a book written by Katie Price. My friend who’s obsessed with her would be very impressed.

I picked up this book by first reading the blurb and getting too excited to pay attention to the author. When a sports tv presenter and future Olympic athlete meet on holiday, they have the romance of a life time, but will the long-distance prove too hard to make work and will secrets tear them apart?

I loved how simply this book was written. It was easy to read and lovely to visualise the nature of the love. I felt like the style truly linked to the nature of the characters and I like that the two reflected each other. It’s definitely not a literature masterpiece but it’s a beautiful cheesy love story, not incomparable to a Hallmark movie. Anyone else obsessed with them?

The ups and downs, the turmoils, the literal crashes...it all made me want to finish this book and fast. It was sweet, poetic and beautiful to read. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a love story!
