SL x PB Pop Up, Covent Garden Shopping Haul and an Emotional Chat!

After doing some filming in the morning I headed to Covent Garden to visit the SL x PB Pop Up Shop! I was super excited but it didn't go to plan so I headed to do some shopping instead. In the evening I felt a little emotional so I decided to talk it out!

It was a little hard to get used to being back in London knowing it was my last time ever living there. I wanted to make the most of my time there and get out and explore! Luckily, I came back in time for a few different things.

Before I headed out, I did have to check a few things off my list and one of those was writing and posting out some cards. My dad has finally officially retired, not that I wanted him to, I just feel like he's been 'retired' for almost 5 years while still working full time hours. LOL! Anyway, I got him a card for that. On the other hand, his girlfriend has just got a new job and they've both just moved house. While they are currently in a rental they have just sold and bought their own property in the middle of nowhere..yey! Finally, I got my little niece a first day of school card. I can't believe she's going to school and while I wanted to be soppy and loving, I knew my sister wouldn't appreciate it so I kept it sweet and simple.
I got an email a couple of days before travelling back that I could do some filming and get a £10 Amazon Gift Card. Of course I jumped at the chance! It was not what I expected at all though. I had anticipated it would be a casual conversation with a group of others talking and answering questions. Instead it was literally just me in front of the camera answering about 10 questions. I even had a microphone pack attached to me! I actually ended up enjoying it but it was just so professional almost.
It was slightly delayed as they hadn't accounted for set up time at the start of filming but overall it was quite a quick operation. I went first so I was out of there in about 20 minutes. I kind of wanted to watch the other person but I didn't as I could tell he didn't want me to plus it meant I got to Covent Garden earlier.

I was going to visit the SL x PB Pop Up Shop.  Created by Zoe Sugg (Zoella) and Joe Sugg (Thatcher Joe), their Sugg Life merchandise has become very popular. Together with Zoe's boyfriend Alfie Deyes (Pointless Blog), the YouTuber's announced to the public, on very short notice, that they were going to have a pop up shop open for 2 weeks. As it was nearing the end of the time, I thought it was probably the best time to go as it would be quieter.
The road that the SL x PB Pop Up Shop was seriously beautiful. GOALS! It had so many pretty features. I kept taking photo after photo and ended up with so many. There was a beautiful little gardening shop with potted plants and bouquets of flowers. I loved the succulents. If I was living in London permanently, I would totally decorate my house with them. I love the simple greenery they add to an indoor area.
But the whole area was pristine. It was perfectly kept and flawless. There was hanging baskets everywhere with colourful flag bunting between the two sides of shops. There was a wall of daisies which was matched perfectly with the green glass shop walls. On the far side was a daisy banner along the balcony and central was a giant tree that was also cut back flawlessly. Across the road, I just saw a H+M shop but instead of going in, I admired the outside. They had a multicoloured seating area matching the colourful lemons on the mental tree's branches. I don't know where the inspiration came from or what it is meant to represent, but I love it!

I've never been so in awe of a street! I want to go back and just admire it!
Despite all that. The real reason I went - to visit the shop - ended up being a total flop. It was so busy! The queue was running at a time of an hour and a half - at best. They had also sold out of quite a lot of items so I didn't think it was really worth it, given that I only live a short twenty minutes away from the shop. Nevertheless, I enjoyed visiting it still and taking in the atmosphere.

Instead, I headed into the centre of Covent Garden, around the corner. They've really made it into more of a garden area over the last few years. They now have so many new editions. It all began with the swing seats, then the flower wall and now they have these stationary wheelbarrows of plants dotted about. I actually think they're really pretty. They've also added some new seating areas surrounded my giant potted trees. I love it!

After walking home and made tea. For some reason, I can't remember now, but I hadn't had any lunch or breakfast before eating so I was beginning to get a little peckish. I made chicken fajitas with rice (although I didn't eat much of the rice) before eating my Lola's Cupcake! It wasn't quite as nice as normal but still yummy!

The vlog ended up being a little shorter than usual - again - so I decided to film a little shopping haul. In the end, I also shared a rather vulnerable heart-to-heart too about graduation and loneliness. I'm not really one to talk vulnerably on the vlog, I usually use this vlog for that but it was just something I needed to get off my chest at the time. Let me know what you think.
