September Goals!

September is the start of a new month and another new season of life. The end of summer marks the start of a new education year for many and while I may not be heading back just yet, I do have a whole list of things to do this month. It's defintely going to be keeping me busy!

While I always make some New Years resolutions, the last time I made mid-year goals was last summer! I always try to keep my goals SMART so remember to be: specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and timely.
  • Blogtember: As I've already announced, this month I am completing Blogtember (a blog post everyday in September!). It's always good to challenge yourself and for me, scaling up my blog posts from 3 days a week to 7 is doing just that. On that note, make sure to subscribe so you don't miss any!
  • Photo album: Despite all the challenges that have been thrown my way over the past 3 years, it has also been some of the best times. I really do want to remember them in years to come so I am in the process of making a photo album. Unfortunately, it's taking a lot longer than I had anticipated so I NEED to get that finished soon.
  • TV: I know this may not seem like a great goal to have but honestly I really want to catch up on TV. I still have a couple of shows that I haven't yet watched, that were aired over the examination period. I've since caught up on most but The Originals and The 100 are a couple to name.
  • Holiday: Since these next 3 months are going to be the last ever bulk period of time I will ever have off, I really want to be able to truly appreciate the time  off. Once I start at Nottingham, I only have a handful of weeks off a year making it impossible to go away for more than a couple weeks at once. Of course that will still be lovely and I'm sure, I well needed break, but I do want to experience travelling. I'm wanting to plan an interrailing trip around Europe so I'm excited to do that! While I wish I could just take off and leave, I am the last person to just take off without a plan. I like to be prepared so I want to plan the journey, daily schedules and accommodation in advance.
  • Moving: This month is all about changes like I said, and one of those is moving out of my flat in London and into my mother's house in Yorkshire!
  • Be healthy: It's always easier said than done but this month I really do want to try to be healthier. I want to eat better and exercise more. I would love to lose weight but most importantly, I want to be able to feel better. In terms of nutrition, one thing I'm going to try is VITL vitamin tablets. Plus, I also want to have at least one NutriBullet a day and eat less takeaway food!
  • Business trip: Towards the end of the month, I'm going on my first EVER business trip. After paying the ticket price, all food, drinks, hotel stay, entertainment and training is included. I'm super excited to go and truly take in all this opportunity has to offer.
  • Reformat old blog posts: With all the new changes in my blog and a bit of free time, I've been reading over some old blog posts. Well I've defintely been made aware that I have very clearly improved throughout the past 4 years. This month I really want to go through my entire blog to re-edit pictures and remove all the emoji's from my titles (it was a bad phase). With the new font for title text, I don't like the way it looks with capital letters so I want to change all those. But most importantly, I need to update a lot of links. You may not know but I did actually have a blog before this one so unfortunately some of the links still go back to that site making them inaccessible.
  • Hannah's Lips UK: Since launching my business I have become so motivated to learn all about SheerSense and their products. I have really enjoyed the new challenges and been motivated to take in as much as I can. I hope to continue to produce quality blog post content for my website while educating myself on all their is to learn.
  • Believe in myself: As you may be aware, things have been a bit of an uphill battle recently but I really want to make more of an effort to be prouder of the things I have achieved without dwelling on past failures.

What are your September goals?
