Up at the O2, Inamo and Motown the Musical / Goodbye London - My Last Week Part 1

The last couple of weeks in London has been crazy busy and I've tried to stay as busy as possible to make the most of my time living in the capital city of dreams, London. After a busy couple of weeks, I packed up my flat and headed back to Yorkshire to live with my mum.

The week started by my mum coming to collect all my non-essentials from the flat and me packing everything up. She came a little earlier than I had anticipated so it was a bit of a mad rush at the end to get everything ready in time. I had planned to vlog a little bit but it was all a bit chaotic so it was over before I even had the chance to take my camera out!
I've been lucky enough to see a lot of West End shows since moving to London but I did really want to squeeze in a couple more before I left London. Given the fact, I had some money saved, I ended up getting a completely free ticket to see Motown the Musical via TodayTIX. I seriously love that site! It wasn't exactly what I expected and there was a lot of audience participation which was odd but overall it was good. I will be writing a full review soon!
I'm currently trying out a few different face masks from The Body Shop. I do have fairly sensitive skin so I don't want to overwhelm my face with a lot of different skin products in a short period of time so I am trying to spread them out over the next few weeks. This one is the Amazonian Acai Energising Radiance Mask. Once I've used them all, I will post a review here but it probably won't be until the end of October.
One of the best things about this past year has been living with people I'm actually friends with and with whom I enjoy their company. We went out for our last flat meal, albeit without Joe and with Jack (Sophie's boyfriend). We ended up going to Inamo which I hadn't been to before. It's a local Japanese restaurant, down the road from us. It was probably the most technological advanced restaurant I've been in. Not only did you order on an iPad but the tables were also touch screen interactive, with games and a kitchen video feed too!

I had my last volunteering session with Spectrum which was a little sad. I've honestly loved volunteering and working with the charity and it's been such a rewarding experience. I even wrote a little article for them to use as advertising. I'm really going to miss my child's family and I am still in shock that they gave me so many little presents to remember them by. From seashells to chocolate, they will always have a place in my heart.

With so little time left, I really wanted to make the most of everyday and that meant packing everything in! I ended up having to rush around quite a bit one day because I had a bank appointment, which was defintely worth it, but it took a lot longer than I had expected. We went through all my accounts and switched them to the highest interest rates. Plus, I even applied for my first credit card!

When I got home, I quickly ate some yogurt and a snack before heading off to Up at the O2. I've always said I wanted to go Up at the O2 when I graduated UCL. Now that's not ever going to happen, I thought why not. I booked it quite last minute but couldn't have picked a better day to go. While we were walking up and at the time, it was warm with beautiful blue skies. Again, I'll write a full review soon, but it was incredible! The guide, Ross, was so sweet and patient despite my annoyingly slow and cautious pace....I think I may have a slight fear of heights.

Stay tuned for part 2 coming tomorrow!
