Blogmas Announcement and 500 Posts!

Can you believe that yesterday's final Miami post was my 500th blog post! I still can't believe the little daily writings I started over 4 years ago, have turned into this blog. I put my heart and soul into each and every writing that I publish and I love that I now have this platform that's mine.

When I recently updated my website, I fell in love with blogging all over again. I don't know if you've noticed but I've been daily posting since September 1st. The feat never fails to make me smile but I wanted to share something...

I blog and share my thoughts because I want to. If I no longer had the passion and determination, quite honestly I would stop. I don't make a living off this blog, nor do I ever intend on being fully financially dependent on this platform (as you know I'm starting Midwifery come January!). I love the opportunities and relationships it's allowed me to create, and I love that I get to spend my free time doing something that I absolutely love.

I share my motto underneath by blog title and I really do believe in each and every word: "My little corner of safety in this scary world we call home. A place of happiness, vulnerability and self-love.". I've often thought and said the words to myself, so I wanted to make it official. I really do believe in having a safe area to be yourself, whether that be with a certain friend or your family. This is mine. It's a place where I can be myself and I hope everyone else can share the sentiment.

I will be hosting a giveaway very soon to celebrate so stay tuned to my blog and if you want to keep in the loop, be sure to subscribe to get each post sent to your email address!

However, in the meantime, I am excited to say I am doing Blogmas again! I did it last year and like I said I've blogged every day in September, Blogtober and Blogtember too! Here's hoping it's a success so let me know what you want to see in the comments below.
